About Jon Ossoff

Investigative journalist. Anti-corruption fighter. U.S. senator from Georgia.

Jon was born and raised in Atlanta. He studied at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and the London School of Economics, and worked as a national security aide to Rep. Hank Johnson.

Before running for office, he led an investigative journalism company that exposed corruption, organized crime, and abuses of power around the world. He brought that same work to the Senate.

In January 2021, at 33, Jon won a runoff to become Georgia's first Jewish senator and the youngest member of the Senate. On November 3, 2026, Georgians sent him back for a second term.

After the win, Ossoff hailed voters' "sweeping and decisive victories."
